Colourful Hummingbird

wow, believe it or not but his piece just gave me a LOT of inspiration and relaxation yesterday, although I didn't even want to work on it at first!

What you see here is a Hummingbird, shining bright in all the beautiful colours possible, which is supposed to be a gift for a good friend of mine. This piece itself is dedicated to her- Nati^^
She would have loved to see me drawing a Hummingbird and here we go^^ 

The colouring really was fun for me to do because it was different from my normal technique but still so awesome and simple to make, I was certainly enjoying it. Working with my brush here and there really kept me motivated and happy since I've been having some issues with colouring lately. This one showed me, what I can do if I want to. 

All in all, I'm super happy with how this piece turned out although it was challeging and did not hit realism as good as I would have hoped it to do, but what I've created with it just makes me happy^^ I really hope, you like it!
